Caramel Bars

Bar ingredients

2 c Flour
2 c Oatmeal
1 1/2 c Brown Sugar
3 cubes Butter melted
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Soda
1 c Pecans
1 1/2 c Caramel
Caramel ingredients

1 cube Butter
2 c Brown Sugar
1 c Corn Syrup (light)
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tsp Vanilla

Mix all bar ingredients together. Spray a 10X15 pan and put 2/3 of dough in pan. Bake for 13 minutes. While bars are cooking put all ingredients (except vanilla) for caramel in sauce pan. Bring to an almost boil making sure all sugar has disolved. Add vanilla after taking off heat. After bars have baked remove from oven. Sprinkle pecans and then caramel. Add the remaining dough. Bake for an additional 18-22 minutes. Enjoy!

If you don't want to make the caramel you can always use caramel in the jar.

Homemade Bread

1 c warm water

3 Tbsp Butter

3 c Better for Bread Flour

1/3 c Sugar

1 tsp Salt

2 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast

1 tsp your choice of spice (I use rosemary)

Place ingredients in your bread machine in the order above. I use the setting to mix and then 1st rise. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then I remove from bread maker and divide into 4 sections and place in my mini loaf pampered chef pan. Bake @ 375 for 15-18 minutes or until bread is light brown.

This makes 1 large loaf or 4 mini loafs

You can also make dinner rolls or cinnamon rolls with the same recipe
